The Spell List

The spell list is arranged alphabetically by arche. Each arche is broken down into ten or more levels with the spells for that level listed with brief descriptions. Each arche is listed with its dji ideogram, the Talanthi character representing the form of magic.

Remember, if the name of the spell is marked with an asterisk (*), it is a lost spell and must be found during adventuring. All spells marked with a degree (°) are organizational spells can only be learned and cast by organizational members.

The Arche of Body

Heal Light Wound / Body 1
With a touch, this spell allows the caster to heal a Light wound (or 1 Hit Point) of one creature.

Purify Food / Body 1
This spell will remove any impurities, poisons, and disease from food and drink.

Slow Taint / Body 2
Slow Taint allows the caster to inhibit the progress of a poison or disease in a creature's body.

Touch of Paralysis / Body 2
With a touch, this spell paralyzes a target for a count of 60.

Diagnose / Body 3
This spell allows the caster to detect the presence of any poison, disease, or malady, both natural and magical, in the creature or object touched.

Heal Critical Wound / Body 3
With a touch, this spell heals one Critical wound (or 2 Hit Points) of one creature.

Protection from Paralysis* / Body 3
This spell protects the caster from one attack by paralysis including the second level Body spell Touch of Paralysis.

Protection from Taint / Body 3
This spell protects the caster from one attack by poison or disease including magical maladies.

Immunity to Pain* / Body 4
By invoking this spell, the caster grants a single creature Immunity to Pain allowing them to continue to fight and act normally when critically wounded.

Refresh / Body 4
With this spell, the caster rejuvenates the body of a single living creature to remove wear and exhaustion.

Bestow Protection from Paralysis* / Body 5
This spell acts just like the third level Body spell Protection from Paralysis except that it can be bestowed upon another creature.

Bestow Protection from Taint / Body 5
This spell acts just like the third level Body spell Protection from Taint except that it can be bestowed upon another creature.

Heal Mortal Wound / Body 5
With a touch, this spell heals one Mortal wound (or 4 Hit Points) of one creature.

Purge Taint / Body 5
Purge Taint will cleanse the body of one creature of most poisons, diseases, and other magical or non-magical maladies.

Healing Draught* / Body 6
Originally an organizational spell of the House of Healers, this spell allows the caster to enchant a single draught of water with the magic of any healing spell thereby creating a potion of one dose.

Greater Immunity to Pain* / Body 6
By invoking this spell, the caster grants a single creature Greater Immunity to Pain allowing them to continue to fight and act normally when mortally wounded.

Rejuvenate / Body 6
With this spell, the caster rejuvenates the body of a single living creature to restore lost Magic Points.

Greater Protection from Paralysis* / Body 7
This spell functions as per the third level Body spell Protection from Paralysis except that it protects the caster versus three paralyzation attacks.

Greater Protection from Taint / Body 7
This spell functions as per the third level Body spell Protection from Taint except that it protects the caster versus three poisoned or diseased attacks.

Restore Flesh / Body 7
This spell reverses the effects of most transformation spells including the seventh level Earth spell Gorgon's Curse. Restore Flesh will also repair permanent body damage.

Resuscitation / Body 7
Resuscitation returns a single creature from death to mortally wounded.

Accelerated Healing / Body 8
Accelerated Healing infuses the caster's body or the body of another with great healing energy to heal a wound level per minute per hit location.

Morewen's Promise° / Body 8
This organizational spell of the House of Healers grants a creature touched a moment of healing to be used when needed.

Protection from Death* / Body 8
Once cast, the magic of Protection from Death this spell keeps the creature at a Mortal Wound for five minutes.

Bestow Greater Protection from Paralysis* / Body 9
This spell acts like the seventh level Body spell Greater Protection from Paralysis except that it can be bestowed upon another creature or a single item and is dispelled as a level seven spell.

Bestow Greater Protection from Taint / Body 9
This spell acts like the seventh level Body spell Greater Protection from Taint except that it can be bestowed upon another creature or a single item and is dispelled as a level seven spell.

Mass Heal / Body 9
This spell heals all the wounds of up to five creatures in a five-foot radius around the caster.

Immunity / Body 10
Invoking this powerful spell, the mage calls upon the powers of Body and life to grant a creature touched total Immunity to the effects of all poisons, diseases, paralysis, and other taints and maladies.

Morewen's Word° / Body 10
This powerful organizational spell of the House of Healers allows the caster to heal another creature from a distance.

Restoration / Body 10
With this potent spell, the caster restores the life and health of a single dead creature.

Revivification* / Body 15
The greater power of Revivification restores a dead creature to full vitality, full hit points, and full Constitution and affects some Feats and Magic Points as well.

Resurrection* / Body 20
The miracle of Resurrection fully and completely restores the life, health, and ability of a single dead creature including Constitution, Feats, and Magic Points.
